Empowering Communities Since 2018
In the bustling streets of Hyderabad, where opportunities and challenges coexist side by side, Sangamitra Seva Samithi was born from a simple yet powerful belief: that every individual deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope. Founded in 2018, our organization emerged from the vision of dedicated individuals who witnessed firsthand the struggles of underprivileged communities and decided to act.
What started as small-scale initiatives—helping a few children access education and organizing community health awareness sessions—has blossomed into a comprehensive social service organization. Our journey began in the narrow lanes of Nallakunta, where our founders observed families struggling to meet basic needs: children dropping out of school due to lack of uniforms, women remaining financially dependent due to lack of skills, and elderly citizens having no access to healthcare.
Our name, "Sangamitra," means "companion" or "friend," reflecting our core philosophy of walking alongside the communities we serve rather than imposing solutions from above. We don't just see ourselves as service providers; we are partners in community development, facilitators of change, and advocates for the voiceless.

Sustainable Social Impact
Transforming Lives Through Service
The inception of Sangamitra Seva Samithi traces back to a profound realization in 2018. Our founder Sampath Botla, actively involved in social service through Saanthwana - India since 2007, witnessed the pressing needs of communities around Nallakunta area in Hyderabad.
Sampath Botla, with his unique blend of technical expertise from Sreenidi Institute of Science & Technology and business acumen from his MBA in Entrepreneurship, brought a fresh perspective to social service. His experience as Director of Business Development, combined with years of humanitarian work, shaped our sustainable approach to community development.

Sangamitra Seva Samithi’s activities have brought tangible improvements to the lives of thousands of individuals and families in our communities. Through our diverse projects in education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, and disaster relief, we have created lasting change across multiple dimensions of well-being.
Our education initiatives have helped over 2,100 children stay in school by providing them with uniforms, books, and after-school support. Many children who once faced the risk of dropping out are now regular attendees, showing improved academic performance and greater confidence in their future.
By organizing medical camps and distributing nutrition kits, we have ensured that more than 3,800 people—especially women and children—have access to basic healthcare. Our efforts have resulted in increased vaccination rates, reduced anemia among pregnant women, and better overall community health.
Our skill development programs have trained over 240 women in tailoring, handicrafts, and entrepreneurship. Many have started their own small businesses, leading to higher household incomes and greater financial independence. These empowered women are now role models and leaders in their communities.
Through tree plantation drives and the installation of solar-powered lights, we have improved the environment and reduced energy costs for hundreds of families. Our efforts have also fostered a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship among local youth and volunteers..
During times of crisis, such as floods and the COVID-19 pandemic, our relief work has reached over 2,100 families with food, essentials, and support to rebuild their lives. Our rapid response has helped vulnerable groups recover and regain stability.
By establishing community centers and self-help groups, we have created safe spaces for learning, collaboration, and social support. Our programs have strengthened community bonds, encouraged savings, and promoted collective action for local development.
Since our inception, Sangamitra Seva Samithi has directly benefited more than 18,000 people, helping them achieve better health, education, economic security, and dignity. Our work is rooted in the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we are committed to leaving no one behind as we build stronger, more resilient communities
