About Samgamitra Seva Samithi

Get to know about our Samgamitra Seva Samithi

In the bustling streets of Hyderabad, where opportunities and challenges coexist side by side, Sangamitra Seva Samithi was born from a simple yet powerful belief: that every individual deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope. Founded in 2018, our organization emerged from the vision of dedicated individuals who witnessed firsthand the struggles of underprivileged communities and decided to act.

What started as small-scale initiatives—helping a few children access education and organizing community health awareness sessions—has blossomed into a comprehensive social service organization. Our journey began in the narrow lanes of Nallakunta, where our founders observed families struggling to meet basic needs: children dropping out of school due to lack of uniforms, women remaining financially dependent due to lack of skills, and elderly citizens having no access to healthcare.

Our name, "Sangamitra," means "companion" or "friend," reflecting our core philosophy of walking alongside the communities we serve rather than imposing solutions from above. We don't just see ourselves as service providers; we are partners in community development, facilitators of change, and advocates for the voiceless.
